SOIL (2013) [interactive sound installation]



SOIL is an interactive sound installation based on the electrical conductivity of soil. Soil is used as variable resistance of a simple hand-made electronic circuit composed by 4 AND oscillators. Visitors can interact with the system through couples of metal bars: changing their position into each soil jar they’ll change the oscillation frequency of each one of the 4 oscillators.
